Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has gained a following through her appearances on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Then she began moving to Texas in search of her career in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida in Orlando and took part in a wide range of acting roles. This included independent local films, as well as world-wide commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love for the art of acting despite her small role. Her move to New York and in 2001 she was offered her first stage role in the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she played minor roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. The year 2004 saw her landing her first role in a major series on the drama short-lived The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as some of the most renowned TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. In 2006, she played A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character from her Law & Order: LA spinoff, which was not long-lasting. De La Garza has been nominated to win several awards, including the award for Best Supporting Actress-TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she won an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was Marisol Delko, the wife of the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. Her most current TV work was on NBC's darker thriller Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After just two episodes, the show was put on hold. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The mother of the child is an Italian father and a sister Cory that is one years younger than her. She grew up in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano's journey into the world of sports began when she was seven as her babysitter took on an audition. Milano was among four girls chosen from over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano has appeared in TV commercials, off Broadway productions and her role in the American premiere of Jane Eyre.
